This technique is something you'd want to use when you are getting into a hole with a loved one.
A hole is something where you've carved out a niche in reality where you'd have to be to have a proper set of thoughts that are contained by your body and held in your mind, where you can work from these thoughts and build upon them in a semblance of sane continuous thoughts.
